Alfas at the Glen 2021 - SVRA - Watkins Glen Speed Tour

July 28, 2021

The banquet speaker will be Bob Little who has lived a rich “Alfa Romeo life” holding a wide variety of duties over a 20-year period with Alfa Romeo USA. Earlier, as an unpaid ‘gopher’ for the Alfa Romeo S.p.A. racing division Autodelta, he lived inside the factory walls for a period of time and traveled to European and American race circuits with the Autodelta team supporting its racing activities…and has driven Alfa Romeo production cars for well over 1,000,000 miles over his five decades as a true Alfa Romeo enthusiast.

He is the founder and “Team Manager” of the www.AutodeltaGoldenYears.com heritage site of Alfa Romeo racing history from the post-WWII period to the present day.

His presentation “Il Quadrifoglio at Watkins Glen” will show banquet guests his rare copyrighted collection of original images of the top-secret Autodelta factory in Settimo Milanese, a road trip down the coast of Italy to the Targa Florio in Sicily, one week at Le Mans with the team, and finally a glimpse of Alfa Romeo Formula One history from 1970 through 1985.

It is anticipated that Bob will gladly hold a Q&A session along with an audience drawing for unusual Alfa Romeo gifts after the show.

Registration is now open, so sign up now to reserve your spot at this year's banquet!

January 2021

Alfas at the Glen 2021 logo On behalf of the organizers of "Alfas at the Glen 2021," we'd like for you to join us September 9–12, 2021, at the historic Watkins Glen Grand Prix Circuit for what is sure to be a great event celebrating "110 Anni di Competizione e Amicizia".

Alfas at the Glen 2021 "110 Years of Competition and Friendship" will offer friends and family, food and racing with activities for both competition and street-driven Alfa Romeo cars. In 2005, 2010 and 2015 AATG boasted over 60 racing Alfas!

With tours of the Finger Lakes wine country and generally beautiful weather this time of year, the convergence of all cars carrying the stylish adaptation of the coat of arms of the Visconti family in the field of Milanese colors makes for magic!

Please make your accommodation arrangements NOW! Corning, Horseheads, and Elmira, New York are all good choices as rooms fill quickly in the Watkins Glen/Montour Falls area. A good place to start is at our accommodations page.

All Alfa Romeo-powered competition cars that meet recognized sanctioning body classifications and regulations, including current cars, are invited by SVRA and, if entered in the weekend, including a complimentary entry in the "All Alfa Romeo Race."

All attendees will have the opportunity to wander the paddock and see more great Alfa race cars in one place than nearly anywhere else! Watkins Glen and Alfa Romeo: a winning combination.

We will have designated parking areas in the paddock at the track, a welcome reception, and a special gala dinner with guest speakers, similar to what was done in 2005, 2010, and 2015 to great effect. We plan to have driver photos, car photos, and bios of attendees up on the site as entries are received. Come join us!

Please direct all technical, sponsorship, special cars, press and event publicity, local information and assistance, general inquiries, website inquiries to info@alfasattheglen.com.
